Children

Parents tell us that KidsCrossing in the only thing they don't have to force their kids to get out of bed for.  They love coming - sometimes forcing their parents out of bed! Our goal in our KidsCrossing program (Pre-K - 5th Grade) is to provide a safe, fun, engaging experience where they have a great time learning about how to live life with a faith that teaches that God's primary characteristic is love.  We think CrossWalk's theological perspective aligns with experience and reality. It plays well with science. It addresses the problem of pain very well. It encourages questions. It expects doubt. It doesn't force things like the Bible or doctrine to be perfect simply because the tradition says it must be. It fosters a life based on love where we love others and ourselves, which is a reflection of our love of God. We think this approach provides a foundation for a lifelong faith that will withstand the test of time, ongoing education, scientific discovery, and reason.
